Identifying The Root Cause
Step 01 of 07 · Seven-Step Care Pathway
Identifying the Root Cause
A correct diagnosis is the foundation of effective allergy care.
- Allergy symptoms can have many causes, and symptoms alone do not always tell us what is triggering them.
- We begin with a detailed medical history, examination and assessment of your symptoms, environment, lifestyle and possible triggers.
- Where appropriate, testing such as skin-prick testing, patch testing and IgE molecular/component-resolved allergy testing may be used to identify clinically relevant allergens.
